Blah blah blah No trace of non-fill. No pops. It’s a stellar pressing although as someone mentioned below the mix is a tad muddy. Still, a powerful LP if this type of thing is your bag. It’s no Oranssi Pazuzu, but it will do you just fine.

Heavy Non Fills on Side B - on all copies I ordered. Such a shame. Simple not acceptable. Music and packing great, but as long as the pressing is as bad as this one: stay away. -
Edited one year agoListening to “Ilion” is like being strapped to the nose of a French bullet train for an hour trip. A nonstop barrage of metal power. Every track hits you with a brutal punch to the jaw. This is not for the timid, metal maniacs only need apply. Best metal release of 2024 so far & will likely take all prisoners and remain ruler at the end. Bravo Slift !!! -
Massive cracks on The Words That Have Never Been Heard (Side B) on both the initial album and also the replacement after reclamation. Has to be on all red/black smoke presses. Annoying!

Edited one year agoWow superb pressing, top notch sound, no defects, which shows that "small groups" can be demanding on the quality of their final product sold to their fans.. Plus I thought I had the white but I got the Dark Red Smoke then:

Edited one year agoLooks and sounds great. I got couple little pops per side. Proper wash could help. Amazing looking set. This red black "smoke" is easy the best looking version -
Pressing is nice and quiet. I like the album a lot. Mastering is a bit muddy compared to the streaming version, but not terrible. -

Blown away by everything to do with this release. Didn’t think they could top Ummon, but man did they ever. Packaging is top notch and vinyl sounds perfect. Grab this while you can!
