The master and cut sounds good, some songs/sides sounds better than others, but on my copy the quality control on the pressing of the first disc is poor. In Side A at the end of Ain't No Right there is an annoying sound like someone scratching a chalkboard :( Side B sounds okay, not as remarkable as the rest, and the label has tears. Side C sounds beautiful, as if it was cut on a 45. I think it's a good but uneven edition. It would have been appreciated if the insert artwork had been used to make it a gatefold, perhaps for the 75th anniversary.

i am so pleased by the quality of this pressing. Three Days and Then She Did on the same side is also clutch and they both sound larger than life. this is easily the best way to listen to this album. couldn't rec it higher

Surprised by many superlative comments here - the pressing is okay, noisy in a few places just like most of GZ pressings are. Plus there is the cheapo jacket... Besides that, it's great and it definitely helped to split the 51-minute record onto two discs. The sound is clear and dynamic. Until there is something better, this is a go to version.

Pressing is great. Stupid flimsy non-gatefold sucks. Thirtieth anniversary - woo-hoo! Here’s your cheap cardboard jacket. But I digress. It’s such a fun record and I’m happy to have a good press. Bass sounds really articulate and defined. Drums sizzle and pop. Full band sections get a little “swishy,” but that’s the mix. They love reverb and delay! ;)

Really happy with how this turned out - sounds authentic to the source material but just sparkles that bit more than I .
My discs are flat and quiet. Gatefold would have been nice but the lined sleeves are very welcome. Recommended!

It's always bugged me how the tracks on RDLH are not sequenced in a way that makes sense for vinyl. I figured this out: All they had to do was swap "Then She Did" and "No One's Leaving" in the track order, and then you can divide the album into four roughly even-length sides:

              Side 1
              Stop (4:15)
              Then She Did... (8:18)

              Side 2
              Ain't No Right (3:35)
              Obvious (5:56)
              Been Caught Stealing (3:33)

              Side 3
              Three Days (10:48)
              No One's Leaving (3:01)

              Side 4
              Of Course (7:02)
              Classic Girl (5:08)

Sounds like the original master tape - the snare drums crack like whips. Slapper of a pressing.

I'm on my second copy of this album. The first one had really bad crackly noises all over it, I had to return it. This new one is very quiet and dynamic, a joy to listen to, but not to watch, it is sooooo warped!!! Will keep it but I'll put it on my Vinyl Flat for a few days to see if it gets better.

Absolutely incredible pressing from GZ Media. I’ve had some issues with this pressing facility in the past and they absolutely nailed this pressing. It’s extremely quiet, but has overall great dynamics. This sounds better than the CD version which had a few issues with noise issues. Pleasantly surprised by this pressing and sounds better than my original Warner Pressing from 1990.

Please repress “STRAYS” as it’s actually one of the best albums they released. A really good pressing of “Nothing Shocking” would be great as well. The copy I have is good, but could be better.

The 2 x LP reissue this album deserves. Loud, clean and dynamic with minimal background noise. The drums on 'Three Days' in particular just pummel you and the guitars leap out of the speakers like buzzsaws. Absolutely smokes my original pressing.
