Hey, I am interested in collecting various trip hop music from all over the globe. Currently Ive been checking out the likes of
Portishead, Unkle, Tricky, Amon Tobin, Allflaws.
Please post any song, video and link suggestions. I will post some too ;)
Here is a good start
Portishead - Wandering Star

You mentioned some of the greats. That genre is just pretty sketchy all around. Most of it is tacky. You have to dig deep to find the good stuff, I guess.
I tend to like Tricky and the more twisted stuff. Have you explored the works of DJ Spooky? -

Yes I agree you really have to dig deep to find good stuff in this genre. Will try out DJ Spooky. Thanks. -

If you like Tricky, maybe you'll like Ez3kiel - Barb4ry (French band that begun with a mix of trip hop, dub and some kind of rock, more post rock/modern classical on later stuff) -

Portishead is definitely my favorite one. Tricky, Massive Attack (mostly Blue Lines and Mezzanine) and UNKLE are great too. In some cases it's pretty hard to draw the line between trip hop and downtempo and a few other genres -- which is quite stupid and useless come to think of it. Some of these include such bands as Hooverphonic, Aim, Morcheeba, Terranova, Bowery Electric and so on. All of these are fantastic in my opinion.
Terranova - Plastic Stress: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhGDotjeJWs
Bowery Electric - Shook Ones: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSsPj0NcqI4
Frenic - Deathless Audio: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKOMxyLJ1wA
Hidden Orchestra - Spoken: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDzPfOUlcg8
Tricky - Christiansands: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JMVur7iLUHs
UNKLE feat. Alice Temple - Bloodstain: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0HwC9gE7LbM (don't mind about the stupid AMV)
Aim - Journey To The End Of The Night: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4eHEnz49P_o -

if you like Tricky then check out Martina Topley-Bird's solo work post-tricky
just don't bother with Anything, that's a truncated version of Quixotic for the short-attention span American audience.
FSOL* - ISDN has a great trip hop vibe, if you like it enough you may want to explore the rest of their releases - recommended if you like that Blade Runner-vibe.
and you must know about this one, as you mentioned Tricky, but since you didnt list it - have you heard Martina Topley-Bird, and +
if you're into the downtempo jazzy-hip hop & breaks style of Trip-Hop from Ninja Tune then you'd enjoy Nightmares On Wax - Smokers Delight are also required listening. -

Lamb's first two albums are excellent! a mixture of jazz, idm, trip hop, and drum n bass. mind you i stopped listening after the second album, as i felt their sound brightened up a bit too much, but if you liked morcheeba then you may also like What Sound and beyond.

and you must know about this one, as you mentioned Tricky, but since you didnt list it - have you heard Nearly God - Nearly God? Tricky's side project supergroup bringing together the vocal talents of Terry Hall, Neneh Cherry, Björk, Alison Moyet, Martina Topley-Bird, and +
if you're into the downtempo jazzy-hip hop & breaks style of Trip-Hop from Ninja Tune then you'd enjoy Up, Bustle And Out* - Light 'Em Up, Blow 'Em Out, The Herbaliser - Blow Your Headphones, and Hedfunk - Hedfunk
Nightmares On Wax - Carboot Soul & Nightmares On Wax - Smokers Delight are also required listening.
Some amazing stuff in here. Thanks -

Pati Yang from Poland is my favorite.
At least her debut album "Jaszczurka" for later on she moved to more Dream Pop songs.
