Maybe it’s just me, but my pressing is noisy even after multiple cleans. Probably going to order another copy from Amazon and return the first copy I have. All these reviews are raving about this pressing but the pops/clicks overshadow the music for me
-
Great album with a wide variety of musical influences and styles performed by a slew of musicians coming together for just this once! A must have record!
-
Fantastic sounding, will probably also check out the reissue coming in 2025.
My question on this pressing is: why is Kevin Grey credited as cutting the second LP but not the first? Perhaps he only worked on the new and previously unreleased material? -
This album is absolutely amazing. I love it. I was looking for something fresh, and mellow. This is such a breath of fresh air. I stumbled across this in a review. I don’t know how I overlooked it back in the day. Maybe my music taste is changing….

Absolutely amazing pressing! Best Ive heard in a very very long time. This is a must have in any collection. Oh, and the music is beautiful! Just amazing!
-
maybe the best reissue album i bought these years. The overall quality of mastering, packaging and pleasure of listening is unmatched. Better than the cd version hands down.It sounds literally ALIVE with a good setup. Goosebumps.

Edited one year agoam i the only one on here who's a bonus tracks nazi? i hated how they were stuck onto the end of CDs and it was a major reason i got into vinyl in the first place. but now they're showing up on vinyl too. a record's final track is just that - it's meant to be the end. i'd have been fine with the bonuses being a separate ten-inch or twelve-inch in 45.
but UGH, the prices for an original HURT. i think i'm just gonna have to take it like a man. -
Edited one year agoHi all, I have a doubt that maybe someone here can help me clarify.
I bought a copy of this record and, based on barcodes, matrixes, etc. it seemes to be variant 1 of this version. However, the second sticker is slightly different from the one described here. Mine is silver (not gold) on black and reads:
Music On Vinyl
Classic Album
180 gram audiophile vinyl pressing

I couldn't find another version of the album on discogs with the same sticker as mine. Is this simply another variant of this version or is it a different pressing?
Thanks in advance to whoever can help me.
