"Fast Song"/"Fart Song" is just called "Fast" in the ASCAP Repertory database website, as well as on Double Live. Oddly enough, "John E. Smoke" shows up in that as "John E. Smokes." "Julio Iglesias" shows up as well. The writing is credited in all the songs to Jeffrey Scott Coffey, Gibson Jerome Haynes, Jeffrey D (David, according to Wikipedia) Pinkus and Paul Leary Walthall.

Edited 2 years agoSo there's a bit of mislabeling with the song titles even on a lot of official sources. The first track known as "Jimi" is correct, for the first 8 minutes. The 2nd part of the song is called "Cartoon Song". It was labeled that on various setlist and internally called that among the band. The eight track is called "Fast" and is occasionally labeled as "Fast Song". However the title "Fart Song" seems to be a mislabel. I can't find a setlist or internal documents referring the song to that title. So where that title came from is a mystery.
