I agree with rkcerman - I'm a little surprised on the myself - the whole release start to finish is pretty solid. Today's techno has a lot to do with soundscape and ambiance. Under The Flightpath, along with releases from Luke Slater, Dave Clarke, Steve Stoll among others on Novamute Records, incorporated melody - actual hummable techno tracks - that is for the most part, non-existent today. That's not a knock on today's techno. I love it, too. I bought Under The Flightpath on a whim when it came out back in 97. I had no idea who Darren Price was - just knew that pretty much anything on Novamute was going to be good - and it did not leave my disc player for months. Even today, it still revisits my cd player for a trip down memory lane. Very recommended.

Surprised by the relatively lukewarm reception in the comments - randomly discovered this on Discogs and I find this album to be consistently fantastic throughout. Sure it has its 90s sound, but who cares?

Airspace is worth the price of this album alone, a real classic intelligent techno belter, that will put a smile on your face.
