This 2013 re-recording is very true to the original 1975 version and is very nicely produced. Obviously it's not a 100% copy, as I suspect some of the instruments/technology from 1975 were no longer in use 38 years later and of course most of the musicians are also different. I'm not sure what the rights situation is, but it would seem the music Camel made during their Decca period is not owned by Andy Latimer's Camel Productions Ltd and re-recording this album was no doubt a lot of fun to do, but it was also a way of re-creating an old favourite, but with full control and rights over it - Years later Taylor Swift also did a Camel!
