Notes
Newly remixed from the original tapes.
Issued with a hype sticker attached to the shrink wrap and a 4-Page fold out insert featuring unreleased photos and a new essay by producer Bob Ezrin.
Was first released with a glitch in 'Flaming Youth' which was recalled and then this repress was done. The first mispressed release can be found here Kiss - Destroyer (Resurrected). The only difference between the two versions other than the error being fixed are the runouts: "REI" is added after the numbers and "AD" after Masterdisk.
Runouts are etched, Masterdisk is stamped.
Recorded And Mixed At Record Plant Recording Studios, NYC
Remix By Bob Ezrin with Justin Cortleyou at Anarchy Studios, Nashville, TN
Additional Engineering By Garth Richardson at Nimbus School of Recordings Arts, Vancouver, B.C.

Edited 12 years agoWhen it comes to rock 'n roll, nobody does it better than KISS. The band is still going strong 39 years after founding Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons released their first self-titled album. Now comes their multi-platinum album Destroyer, re-mixed and re-tooled by original producer Bob Ezrin. It's called KISS - Destroyer: Resurrected and features the original intended cover art. There are also rare unreleased recordings included, which were unearthed while Ezrin was working on the new version.

Edited 12 years agoThis is the first US pressing of the LP and has a glitch in the beginning of "Flaming Youth". In the mastering process, a fraction of a second was accidentally removed causing a noticeable skip-like effect in the beginning of the song. The Universal Record group is apparently repressing these with the problem fixed. No time line for this has been given.
1.26.13: Amended comment . The Glitch (see above) has now been fixed on new US vinyl copies. The packaging is identical down to the barcode. While many of the original copies have been recalled, many are still in stores. The only differences I could find between the two were the matrix numbers etched in the runout. The FIXED copy has the letters "REI" etched in after the numbers.
