Soundquality varies between tracks.
Most of the famous songs are missing high frequencies while the others have PERFECT soundquality. -
The sound is quite odd. It seems like there is a constant echo throughout most songs. Weird listening experience, hence the three-star rating.

Having just hooked up a turntable for the first time in many many years, I ed some old LPs that my brother picked up at auction that were languishing in my garage. I've just put this album on, and considering it's nearly 50 years old there's virtually no hisses or crackles, it plays impecibally. The other discs are all Elvis albums from the 60s, i'm not so hopeful that they'll be in the same condition!

Very odd that my copy seems to not be any of the ones listed. It's a 2xLP gatefold with unidentified year (bought from amazon, amazon says 2011 but that is most likely not right) and the ones that resemble this description have teal center stickers. The one that resembles it closer in physical description is one of the 2009 releases but those have 1876 in the center stickers and mine has the correct 1976 in the stickers and some "extra" credits to Craft recordings, division of Concord Music Group. I guess i am going to have to create yet another entry.
