A fantastic sounding album. It's quiet and flat, which is not always guaranteed with new vinyl but QC with all the JT reissues has been top notch and this is no exception.
Sound wise it's excellent and despite the tracks being culled from sessions for 4 albums, it all hangs together really well. A 10/10 release for me. -
I have been listening to this album for three days now and it has become my favorite record store day release. Such a fantastic soundstage. May not be for everyone but as a Tull fan this is a home run IMO.

Wow! This is a fantastic release. So happy I was able to purchase this.
Amazing songs, amazing pressing, flat and clean records. I am not an expert, but it sounds great.
And the cherry on the top... Ian's comments/stories behind each song.
I love this. -
From the same family as Warchild II, Stormwatch 2 and The Chateau d’ Herouville. While those 3 are companion albums to Warchild, Stormwatch and ion Play respectively, Songs from the vault 1975-1978 collects songs intended for, but left out of, Minstrel, Too old, Wood and Horses. Again, all these songs are included in the CD boxes, as well as Ian Anderson’s priceless comments. But it is nice to have them compiled in vinyl, specially one that sounds this good. Not for the casual fan, probably, but a must for the die hard fan. Paid 41€ at Revolver in Barcelona.
