I put this inside my copy of La Realidad De Los Sueños and now I finally feel complete... until they reissue Ambuletz, that is!

The artwork is a step down from the original single imho. Also my record was very dusty and came with an audible scratch, which is annoying for the big price tag (in Europe)

Noisy pressing. When you pay $21 for two songs, you hope for better quality. There is a long introductory age with sound effects coming out of silence. But the silence is not silence...you will hear crackle, crackle, crackle in the background. It is low-level noise but it should not be like that. This introductory age goes on for quite a while and the surface noise gets real annoying. When the music kicks in, the music is so loud that if there is any surface noise you can't hear it. From that point on, the whole thing becomes much more enjoyable. I bought four albums on RSD and this is easily the worst in of quality of the pressing. What a shame.

Edited 2 years agoI’ve been a TMV fan since this single’s namesake album was released. This is literally the best this recording has ever sounded. The moment the music kicks in after the intro sound effects I immediately perked up and took notice. I love the alternate artwork as well, which is presumably from the same photo session that resulted in the original cover. If you’re not snapping this up for $20 then what are you doing with your life?

Confirmed…dead quiet in regards to pops. (albeit dirty as hell).
Sounds great…no problems there.
I’m just completing TMV vinyl catalog at this point, so congratulations fellas, you had me at hello. -
Oh my god. This pressing is immaculate. Everything sounds so crisp and the mix/master are wonderful. As many have stated, my copy came pretty dusty/staticky, but after one clean it was off to the races.
100% pick this up if you’re a fan of either song. Like. Wow. -
Edited 2 years agoVery pleased with my copy! A little dirty but nothing a good clean won’t fix. Sounds awesome, do wish there was a little something more on the b-side considering there’s a lot of deadwax. However, it was well worth waiting in line in the freezing cold. Now I just need the new acoustic album to complete my Volta vinyl collection once more! Update: I did notice some slight skipping on my copy, which hasn’t gone away despite numerous cleanings, but it’s not a big enough deal to replace it.

5/5. Heaviest pressing they've made of any of their records weight-wise, the 45rpm sounds incredible, little to no surface noise, amazing soundscape. Absolutely love getting to hear this track in its full glory now.
