Edited 2 years agoI bought it on amazon. First one had scuffs and was scratched. They sent me another and it was even worse. Bad luck I gues, albeit it always happens with GZ media .

Great pressing! Sounds full and dynamic; the new remaster is top-notch. Packaging and extras are great, including the booklet. The extra tracks are really nice to hear, as well. Overall a spectacular release.

Why, oh why, do some supposed reissues use such horrible paper sleeves for records? I get it that it’s cool to have a printed inner sleeve, but not one that leaves crap all over the record which has the potential to ruin it. The second disc of my copy needed a thorough clean before playing - not something you should have to deal with before playing a brand new album.
Otherwise, this is a pretty nice reissue. The booklet is cool, and the bonus tracks are interesting. Original albums sounds great, if maybe mastered with slightly too much high end. -
Edited 3 years agoNice packaging and enjoyed reading through the insert booklet. To my ears, the remastered original album was enjoyable to listen to. I found it neat to listen to the demos on side three. "Beth", on side 4 was excellent but the rest of the side 4 songs came across flat sounding. Not a deal breaker for me since these were rarities, instrumentals or alternate mixes. Still pretty interesting to listen to if you're a big KISS fan. Overall, glad to have it in my collection.

Great package and great sound. Don’t believe the naysayers, get out your vinyl brush before you play and you will be good to go. It’s very easy to recommend this one.

My copy was very dirty out of the sleeve. The sleeve was heavily creased from factory. Bought this to replace original pressing from childhood. Very pleased with the sound, vinyl is flat and quiet. Kiss fans will be happy with this one!

Edited 3 years agoI received my LP today. I was worried about this pressing. Well, it's perfect. Mastering very good at Destroyer and the LP from the demo recordings has a sound both in the studio. Sound-wise, it's even better than Destroyer itself, which was a big surprise. Vinyl with demo recordings has such a raw drive as Rock and Roll Over. This is the true sound of KISS from their best years. No cracking or dirt on a single LP. I am very satisfied and I would like them to release, for example, Rock and Roll Over and then Love Gun in a similar edition, mainly with a demo LP. You will enjoy it and do not be afraid👍👍👍.
I played on Ortofon Blue.
