Notes
This is the Canadian release on Chrysalis, there is also a UK release that has the same Cat# however the two releases are different. The front covers only vary on the size of the border, whereas the rear covers whilst using the same images are laid out on opposite sides to each other. The US release shows the images on the LHS.
The major difference though is with the track listing on the A-side of both releases, the UK release starts with "Astradyne" and ends with "Sleepwalk".
Both releases share the same track listing on the B-side.
Made in Canada
Black & white Chrysalis label.

Edited 2 months agoI sort-of agree with the reviewer below me. Though it's not terrible I there being a high-frequency roll-off, which is UNUSUAL for a TLC mastering (and I've heard what must be hundreds of TLC-cut lacquers over the years). It was just okay.
BEWARE, however...what makes me disrecommend this pressing is a serious pressing defect. My copy was horrifically off-center on BOTH sides. By off-center, I mean "as close to Jamaican Off-Center™ as it gets". You could literally see the grooves oscillating and tonearm waving violently from a few feet away! Songs with sustained synths like "Astradyne" have SO much wow, they're borderline unlistenable.
Despite sometimes splotchy quality control, Capitol Mississauga had more impeccable-sounding pressings than just about any plant in the country. This is an extremely rare exception. And if one copy is off-center, that means 500-2,000 other copies are off-center too, because that's how many copies a single pair of stampers produces and stays in the record press for... and if the stampers are misaligned for one copy, that entire batch of records will be affected. Be EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS if you happen upon this pressing and spin it to inspect the grooves by eye, 'cause one pressing defect is a sure guarantee of disappointment. -
Received for free from a friend. Clean but muffled and flat. Virtually no high frequency air. Don't know but there ought to be better pressings of this great album. Nice to have though as the music brings back some good memories.
