This is a psych masterpiece which features searing, ripping lead guitar work, indie boy vocals, creamy harmonies and melodic turns that were 25 years ahead of time. This one is still criminally overlooked

Absolutely fantastic psych album. Guitar sound is out of this world. Dreamy vocals and stellar harmonies as well. To top it all off, this pressing sounds great. Pick this up if you can, it is well worth it!

I saw someone online who had a cassette copy of this album. Never actually seen one in person and there’s no page for one on here.

This version is definitely pressed in Stereo. You can hear the instrument separation used to great effect in the song Daystar.

Edited 11 years agoThe star of this album is the power lead guitar of Gary Quackenbush. "Black Sheep" was quite popular in the Detroit area, not really a 'hit'. The best songs on the album feature various Quackenbush riffs. It's spacey and of course a bit psychedelic. Scot Richard's vocals sound weak, not quite up to the powerful sound of the band. But the band's sound struck a chord, or may I say a 'power chord' with this release, and the album has achieved a deserved cult status today.
