Purchased in the 2000s with a matrix number S-59421/22 Dc. It's stereo. Sounds awful. There's nothing clear on this wax. Before seeing it here, I thought it was a bootleg. -

Insanely rare Australian pressing. Great audio. Top psych/garage album. Yeah -

Despite "stereo" on label and cover, the sound od the Capitol reissue from 00's is in MONO -

In agreement with others regarding the excellent sound quality and pressing of this release. -

The SRC has criminally overlooked in the 2024 RSD batch of records. Pressed at Jackpot Records, most people saw the Gandalf release as the "Jackpot" release. Now entering into 100 dollar range. However don't sleep on SRC. It is also only 1500 copies, but where Gandalf is an RSD First, SRC is an RSD Exclusive. I got the only copy of Gandalf that my favorite record store put out for sale. This SRC I bought a week to the day later at a sister location.
This Mastering is by Kevin Gray, as the Gandalf, both records AAA . Their isn't any surface noise, the pressing is very quiet. What sets this record apart from Gandalf is the guitar. It is a Heavy Psychedelic guitar straight out of Detroit Michigan. Unlike Gandalf, SRC did put out several records, why the band never took off is beyond me. Do yourself a favor, if you see this record online, or better still setting in a RSD Bin at a record store, buy it!!!! Do it now, you won't be sorry. -

Nice one. My system is by no means an audiophile setup, but even so, I can tell this press is a little brighter than my OG VG+. That said, unlike my OG, there is zero surface noise and it's extremely well-pressed. It's really a toss-up, but this one is certainly the best of any pressing done after the original run. Disappointed with the cheapo generic paper inner and zero liner notes of any kind -- a major lost opportunity. I actually thought this one might go just as fast as Jackpot's other high-profile RSD '24 release, Gandalf (which did indeed go VERY fast). But I saw lots of copies floating around in stores after their initial surges and as of this writing, copies are listed online at or below market price. -

Sounds very similar to the original 1968 LP. Kevin Gray did a great job! Quiet vinyl, flat and good dynamics. Recommended! -

Agree with the other positive reviews, great sounding, both the mastering and the pressing quality. -

Sounds pretty great. Wondering what makes it an “RSD exclusive” as it’s a repress on black vinyl. Maybe itll be the only AAA cut by Kevin gray?
