Edited 3 months agoJesus Christ this pressing is beautiful in each and every goddamn way
Pressing: 9.7/10 -
I think one of the other reviewers must have gotten a bum copy because this is a great sounding pressing and eclipses the quality of the CD I played the ever loving crap out of when delivering pizzas in the mid-90s. I've heard plenty of crappy pressings and this is definitely not one of them. Highly recommended.

This is a wonderful pressing, no surface noise, it's really silent. The packaging is also really nice. Not perfect flat but still really good. I recommend this copy.

Just played this again after some time.i bought it several years ago when this reissue came out. Boy, is it a fantastic pressing. Did some gear upgrades and it sounds better than ever! I love every song on this album.

Incredible pressing. I’m selling my original copy which sounds so flat by comparison and will be doing the same with Life as well. Sounds like there is the odd duff pressing out there but I simply can’t fault mine.
-
Aw man, this sounds so good, but the pressing defects are so annoying, on both sides too even after cleaning with a wet vacuum plus using an anti-stat gun, will be returning this

Edited 2 months agoGreat sound!!! And yes, b side label is mirrored.... Before playing, do a dry and wet cleaning (too dirty disc, but sound as they were in your room).

God what a great album / release. Why does any release still use sleeves like this though feel like I need to be a surgeon to pull that shit out without scratching the hell out of it lol
-
did anyone else notice the dust printed on the photo inside the gatefold? guess someone forgot to clean the slide scanner lol. i concur with other reviews, sounds amazing, a must have.

I’m giving this one 5 stars based on the good sound quality and general quality of the pressing and packaging. I have always enjoyed this album and got to enjoy it all over again with this vinyl release, but it wasn’t a perfect experience. My copy was so covered in paper specks cemented in the grooves that I had to give it a complete wet brush cleaning before I could play it. And, even after that, my side 2 has a fair amount of audible scratches and a few little gouges that were distracting during quiet parts. This is otherwise a well pressed release that sounds great. I would still recommend picking this one up if you like this album and because my issues seem to be a fluke.
