Is it the same Freddy Fresh ?! The man who made all these legendary freaky Midwest acid tracks in the 90s? It just sounds like Fat Boy Slim... Terrible.

I am not normally a fan of DJ mixes not done live on Vinyl or CD decks, but this has to be an exception. Freddy Fresh chooses some of the juciest 80's and 90's Electro, Big Beat and Electronica jams, mixed together so well (I think on his MPC's), and makes a nice continuing piece of music (like Coldcut's 70 Minutes of Madness CD).

It's got some lovely tracks on the disc like Masters At Work's Proto-Big Beat masterpiece "Justa Lil' Dope", Captain Funk's Rock and Roll meets Fatboy Slim classic "Twist and Shout", The downright funky "Dance Sucka", The Renegade Master-esque "Front To Back" and of course the underrated Hardwire's "Rock Right".

If you like DJ mixes that don't take themselves seriously, you have come to the right place!
