Of course the Deepchord remix is bomb I dont need to justify that, but on first listen I was completely taken back by the high quality and aggressive nature of the Soultek remix. Pure peak hour fire. The key to this remix is the stabby, energetic bassline. The bassline a melody unto itself. It shuffles, pulses, and shimmies. I'm having trouble describing the nature of it but I've heard similar basslines in other tracks and they always stand out when you hear them on a really REALLY good sound system. At high quality venues with big sound I've heard basslines like this leave the speakers and then completely separate from the rest of elements in the track as if they had a mind of their own. Once separated they climb into your earhole and take over your mind.

If you like your techno dub deep then head straight for the Deepchord mix. This little beauty will drag you way in, spin you out, and then when you're halfway through it will make you forget what you were originally listening to and when it's all over you'll be left thinking "Wow, what the F*@k went on there man, I must get me some more of that quality mind-melt sh*t" Happens to me every morning on the tube at 06:00am on the way to work. Always puts a beat in my head and a smile on my face!

DeepChord goes straight to the very essence of original track - the melody. Ir drowns it in sea of echoes and dub sounding as quality as possible. Deepchord could be solid example of quality.
Not to say, Rod Modell knows how to keep that great feeling after hearing first CHORDSs in the original. Even so they have been hidden quite DEEP.
Soultek's mix is realy running somewhere: it changes constantly. And the final result is quite different, mixing both tracks together deefinitely wouldn't get along. Of course, if you din't want to end Dub Techno journey.

A very creative transfer of dancefloor smasher to deeper lands.
