Edited 3 months agoHere comes the night is a down right perverted listen to a die hard Beach boys fan like myself :) And Sumahama is so very very Mike Love. Would have love(d) to see his stage moves for this one. But its a cute song. That said i think they wrapped up the 70s fine with this one! -
A bit of distortion is present, but aside from this, every track sounds great - even the soul stealing disco rendition of Here Comes the Night -
Having a hard time sleeping? Just put on the A-side of this album, and you'll be knocked out cold in minutes! -
El disco es bastante flojo. Una de las peores creaciones de la banda. Lo que vale la pena son los dos primeros temas. El resto es crap. -
This is the last album they did before reverting back to being a band that lives of its past glories.They went out with a bang though.Apart from a couple of tunes this is a beautiful and gentle record sounding great on this re-issue. -

Full Sail, Angel Come Home, Love Surrounds Me all run way too fast on this and it's US counterpart. Overall though this cd sounds great. -

This album may not be one of their best, but it catches a bad reputation—not least likely because of the disco version of “Here Comes the Night,” which can be easily skipped as the first song on side two. Besides that, there are some wonderful songs from Dennis and Carl, especially “Angel Come Home” and “Love Surrounds Me.” There’s some truly beautiful music here, alongside some meh. Overall, this is an album worth owning, especially for Beach Boys fans. Carl on “Full Sail” is serene to the max.
As for the pressing and dynamics, this one is ideal—it sounds great! -

The catalogue number is wrong on this release it is clearly printed both on the cover and record label as DL 3008 not DI 3008 like the original creator of this release has posted.
