Edited 8 years agoIf there was ever any doubt as to the capabilities of this band, this live recording should disprove them all. The musicianship and talent on display is staggering. First of all, it's not a typical live set, edited together from many shows on the road - it was recorded in a single night at one venue. The amazing blending of voices and the tightness of the band and instruments is staggering, as is the recording's sonic quality - Mike Shields did a stellar job of capturing the ambience of the live setting while maintaining ultimate cohesiveness of sound. And to put the final nail in it, 90% of the songs were written by group . What an amazing band, and what an amazing performance.
