Norah Jones – I Dream Of Christmas

Fun album. My pressing is flat, centered, and sounds great on my system.

The first time I heard the song Christmas Don’t Be Late it was sung by The Chipmunks…and…I recommend listening to Norah’s version at 45 rpm…even just once. 🎅👍

Excellent pressing! Dead flat no surprise pops, sound quality is five stars! Bass sounds the best throughout this album and really thumps.

Subtle, but fantastic, arrangements with neat vocal elements throughout. I like Jones's originals on this, too. The Deluxe version is certainly the one to get. Those live tracks are superb on that second disc. A great pickup for Norah Jones fans. No complaints about the pressing quality.

If you own this, make sure to open yours and make sure it’s actually gold! My copy arrived (late) a few days ago and it’s a black copy! Not pleased!

Actually a good album with classics and original songs dedicated to Christmas. But the mixing and the mastering is the weak part of it. Maybe for future releases this problem will be solved.

Beautifully recorded and arranged songs, very good sounding vinyl; unfortunately my side B is slightly out of center, i noticed this as soon as the piano started playing with slightly floating notes, then i take a look and voilà .... waiting for a replacement. Stay tuned

Good music and a worthy addition to your collection if you like Norah and Christmas music. Not the best pressing quality and recordings aren't incredible but still enjoyable.

My copy is flat, quiet, close to centered on both sides, and it sounds terrific.

This will go into my Xmas LP rotation. Jones does something different and interesting with each of the 7 classic Xmas songs – the other 6 songs are Jones' originals, which are great, though not super Christmassy (except for "It's Only Christmas Once A Year"). The song order (never two originals in a row) keeps it a festive listen. Jones adds some tasty piano solos here and there; I would've liked even more.

Fantastic pressing. Surprised at how quiet it is and the mastering on this album.

Caveat. I'm not a Christmas song guy. I do like Norah though. This is a disappointing release. Sounds like it was recorded in 4-5 different rooms at different times then stitched together. No real chemistry. Kinda thin sounding and sibilance and distortion is prevalent. Maybe I just got a bad pressing, or maybe its was a rush released cash grab? You decide.
