amazing vinyl. the 'in between' etching is just crazy tight and fun. 2x times the main track on the same side is dj bliss. b side excellent. colour cover for a (not) 2 tone classic. truly reflects the zeitgeist: one step beyond...

Perhaps the most important Madness stickered pressing that there is. Confirmed by Stiff Records as being the promo issue for One Step Beyond UK 7".

My copy seems to have BUY 56-A2 on the front but BUY 56-B4 on the back? I can’t find any listings on here with the code 56-B4!

'Version' is simply a remix but has the first few seconds of speech removed. Not enough reason to buy this alone, perhaps...

BUT the b-side of the 7" single 'Mistakes' is a great one. Tho', as I say, that's on the usual single release anyway. So there must be something else... Yes!

The bonus track (my words) named 'Nutty Theme' has that great drum sound that's all over the debut album and is just bonkers fun. And the whole thing sounds fantastic, being the format that it is.

Have to say that I LOVE IT!! But then, I would. ;)
