LIFT- The dawn of a new millennium

I bought this movie thinking it would be a Sci-fi movie. A lonely guy who doesn't get out much boinks a slutty girl who thinks she's getting abducted by aliens and makes him wear an alien mask. He's led to believe he has to go to the black mailbox at Area 51 because the world is coming to an end. On the way he meets some characters and a nice woman but blows his opportunity by stealing her motorcycle that she needs for work so he can make it to the mailbox by new years eve. Nothing happens and there is another weirdo there. They end up going to a Denny's to eat breakfast.

I thought oh I get it, the moral of the story was don't waste your time chasing delusional fantasies.
