Group DJ-sets

Hello everyone.

I hesitate to create this topic for a long time as I didn't want it to look like pure selfish promotion because my own sets would appear in first position.

So I hope other folks here would contribute with their own sets as well.

As we are a lot (I guess) to be DJs as well as collectors, and also tracklisting maniacs for a fair amount of us, I thought that would be cool to share our own DJ sets with detailled tracklists here.

For this first post, I have something special that may sound weird or suspicious, but I'm actually offering 2 CD-R for free, and not asking for anything in return.

Some of you may know me as the guy behind Chase Records netlabel, operating between 2005 and 2014. Then after a long hiatus, I decided to launch some sort of side project called Counterflux Series. The goal is to release (mostly) vinyl DJ mixes on CD-R, in limited edition, and to give them away to friends or people interested.

Please note I'm definitely NOT looking for bookings, nor promotion of any sort, I'm just a bedroom DJ (and i'm perfectly fine with that!), obsessed with hard electronic music, sharing my ion. Nothing more. Hence I didn't even submit the first 4 CD-R releases here on Discogs. I'm pleased to share with you and not asking anything in return (no money involved, as always with Chase records + I know noboby would pay to listen my shit anyway ha ha)

So the first 4 releases on Counterflux were DJ sets by yours truly (as Free Spirit). And I just released the fifth installment, this time with a guest : Mr Tony Kashmere (that some of you may know as Tony Katana for his Hardcore sets).

We recorded 2 sets, mostly Acid / Hardcore infused, and present them to anyone interested.

14 CD-R copies with printed artwork have been made and given away, and I still have 2 copies left that didn't find their new home despite being shared on social medias.

So I'm willing to share them with you, and send (for free of course) to anyone interested. There is just a small technical issue : The sets have been burned onto a 99 minutes CD-R because the length exceeded a bit the 80 minutes range of classic CD-Rs. This means some devices won't be able to read the CD correctly. So you might want to check your CD player device before to make sure you can listen the CD without skipping issues. In any case, I will also provide a link, don't worry ;-)
