[Resolved] Hijacked release - how to handle?

Hi everybody,

I just was about to edit Michael Landau - Tales From The Bulge, which I own a copy of and have this release in my collection for years now.
My copy matches close to all currently shown data, including HDCD format, the Cat.No., bonus track, and the Matrix data (one digit is different, but that would be just a 2nd variant). The only clear difference is the Label (on my copy, no Label appears).

With this edit, the bonus track was added, running times have been changed, and in a later edit the Format has been changed to HDCD.
The Label and Barcode were entered by the OS, but do not appear on my copy (and not in any of the images currently provided, which match my copy).

In my view, these are two completely different versions, and a new submission should be set up for one of those.

What should be done now?

1) Revert all changes to the status before the edit linked to above, disable all images, and set up a new submission for the different version, or
2) leave this version as is, change the Label, and set up a new submission to match data as originally stated?*

* this I guess could only be done by Capeman, according to RSG §1.1.1.

In my personal opinion, it should be un-hijacked. There's no reason to believe, without more info from Capeman, that the original was not entered correctly. Seems like he had a very different version.

That would mean a new submission for yours. I think that's the most straightforward way to deal with it, and it's in keeping with the anti-hijacking credo of discogs.

Wish Capeman would've added a full set of pics.
