Chris Taggart [a384142]

I'm trying to find out if the profile for Chris Taggart Chris Taggart is one person.
I know Chris is the drummer for the Robin Trower Band and has been with Robin for quite a while now. Since 2009 I think.
Is he the guitarist from Action Patrol back in the 1990's Action Patrol
Profile says he is one and the same. I don't think so.
Would it mean having to remove all ref of Chris Taggart Chris Taggart from Robin Trower releases and create a new profile?

I suspect the credits involve multiple different people.

Someone could ask cvtagg on twitter if he was ever guitarist in a Richmond, VA band. Other than that, I can't track down a definitive answer.

What's the source of your two images on the Chris Taggart profile, and do they both definitely link to the Richmond, VA guitarist?

(edit:) I now see the Field Marshall / Richmond connection with Avail and Young Pioneers now, linking with the field marshall guitar image on the Chris Taggart artist profile.

These articles link the John Boy's Courage guitarist, Chris Taggart, to the group Fluid Forward Motion has a "C. Taggart" credit in the release notes.

These all seem centered on St. Louis.

electrophonic's research documented here looks sound, that the profile looks to have been created for UK drummer Chris Taggart (with a presence on multiple social media sites).

Then I suspect the US-based guitarist credits are two different people:
- Richmond VA guitarist and visual artist/designer associated with Action Patrol, Avail, Maximillian Colby, Young Pioneers, and various Whirled Records releases.
- St Louis guitarist associated with John Boy's Courage and Core Project.

So am I right to think we have three Chris Taggarts all connected to the one profile?
The original profile being that of the present Robin Trower drummer.

I'll try to bump a few names here that may be more knowledgeable than me to confirm.

I'm fairly sure that people have just added everything under Chris Taggard without making an effort.
The profile should be split into three Chris Taggards, leaving the original one for the Trower drummer.

Yes, that looks correct. +1 for the original profile to be the drummer in Waterboys.

TROWERHEAD1 Why has (3) been created for the Richmond artist? All entries for the Richmond visual/sound artist should be moved to (2), and the entry that you just erroneously moved to (2) should instead be moved to (3).

I created two different profiles for the Chris Taggarts that didn't belong on the original page.
Chris Taggart (2) Chris Taggart (2) was created for the guitarist in Action Patrol.
Chris Taggart (3) Chris Taggart (3) was created for a visual artwork person credited as such on various releases.
I was not aware these two people were one and the same.
If that is the case I apologize and it should be an easy fix to move them to (2)

Don't worry, I've condensed the Richmond based visual/sound artist into (2), and found another stray credit for (3) stuck in with the Trower credits, so that has its own profile now. (1) should be clear.
