Hi Guys and Dolls. Sent a parcel 1 month ago to Israel, hasn´t arrived. Both the Buyer and I are confused. Anyone knows anything?

redmoorvinyl y'all really made my day with those responses continuing it :)

Hopefully OP does clarify what he needs so we can actually be helpful, in addition of course, to making Monty Python jokes.

If you sent it using tracked mail from Sweden, use https://parcelsapp.com/ to find out where it is.
If you did not use tracked mail, then now you know that parcels can go missing and you have very little chance of recouping any losses.

Please also check if the Swedish post hasn't cancelled deliveries to Israel in the meantime. This varies from one Post to another. I have shipped a few parcels to Israel over the last few years and they were always delivered, but never quickly. 1 month is not a surprise to me, especially considering the fact that your destination's political situation is uneasy, so some services like post could be impacted

1 month is not that long, is it?
    This wouldn't worry me particularly.
Maybe after 2 months i would start to raise an eyebrow.

me too... no more parcels to Israel since many years

They either arrive damaged, soaking wet or warped/bent
or they completely disappeared once they had arrived in Israel (even with full tracking...)
From the last maybe ten packages only ONE arrived safe & sound!

Really a shame since I had many longtime / returning buyers from that country :-(

What possible reason was there to remove my post? This website is literally crashing and burning and you have the time to waste on this? I'd understand if anything I said could even remotely be considered political or offensive to anyone. Get your priorities straight.

From my experience, both receiving to & sending parcels from, postal service in Israel runs as usual despite the political situation in the region.

Some countries have suspended service to Israel, India & Japan (have resumed since) that I know of.

1 month is still normal. after 6 weeks I might get a little worried. but if buyer is cool, give it 2 months.

Well I placed an order yesterday with a Bavarian seller...

order was marked "shipped" precisely 22 minutes after I completed the payment.

    We'll see.

Maybe the parcel was illegally intercepted in International waters and is being deported?

Your case outcome doesn't change the OP's experience, and the other experiences.
To me it only shows exceptions are possible. I wish you luck with your dependence
from overseas for some goods vormloos.

Just a parcel of records - anything else in there the security might like to control ?
