It's been crickets around here for over a year. Now I'm getting orders daily again.

I do think that the wantlister has helped increase sales. I get them in bunches, I'm assuming timed along with the wantlist notifications.

Thanks. Haha. It's certainly bizarre. And it continues. Sizeable order today, and several more since posting. Not complaining, for once.

Stocking up before the corruption-fueled recession hits? Who knows, people don't always have rational motives.

So you average 10 - 12 orders a month, Trump gets inaugurated, and immediately your sales explode to so many orders a day, you can't get them shipped out. No, I'm not seeing that, and frankly, I doubt you are either.

I did just expire and relist stock, but that's been noted to not be working anymore.

it does have some effect. Don't do it regularly though, it irritates people. Once in a while is fine, when you need a break, vacation, etc.

I have also noticed a comeback of sales, for want of a better phrase, as if someone pushed the right button for once and things are working again. No complaints!

Glad to hear some of you are seeing an uptick in sales. I've experienced exactly the opposite -- a sharp decline over the last few weeks (I figued due to post-tax filing and the uncertainty created by Trump's tariff war). This has happened in spite of listing a fair amount of new stuff, competitive pricing and solid reviews. Hopefully the tide will soon turn for me, too.

I was just coming here to see if anyone else was seeing, shall we say.... a downward trend in sales? Its a trend I have seen in the summer months in the past. I always told myself it was just hot out and that people didn't want their records melting in hot delivery trucks (lol) but its always a combination of factors.

I hadn’t thought of that! That’s reassuring- I started selling roughly last summer so I don’t much of a baseline to compare to.

That's okay, folks. My sales have been steady for months, really. Once in a while I have a really good week, most weeks are okay, the occasional one is meh. Been a long time since I have had a sale-less week, August at least. I suppose I am the great mean of discogs sales.
