Truly an amazing album by Mike Oldfield, maybe my favourite. It has nostalgic qualities and feels like it brings together his best work, while at the same time feeling new and fresh - quite unlike anything else released in the last years.

Beautiful pressing. All vinyl should sound this clean and full. Much more dynamic sounding than my CD. Very clean, no surface noise, no clicks or ticks. Just perfect!

This is an amazing album and the pressing of this vinyl is top notch. I've been listening to this album on cd for several times but it sounds lifeless and never got me the same way after I've listened to this vinyl from the first time! It's much more warmer. This is the last Mike Oldfield's album so you should own it if you are a fan.

This such a beautiful album in my opinion and pressing is outstanding - not a pop, click or hiss to be heard on my Rega 3. Highly recommended addition to a mike oldfield collection if you can find a copy( i got mine as a half price offer at hmv) but its out of stock now in most places

Very nice copy. Not quite fan of half speed mastering but here it deserves the music quite well. Do not hesitate if you find this LP. Nice packaging also.

I very recently bought the LP via the universal online shop at fraction of the cost and can confirm that it comes with a 24"x24" poster.
The main thing however is how it sounds: in a word, flawless.
I bought this as a CD+DVD when it came out and I have listened to it many, many times; the vinyl is so much warmer, the acoustic guitars are a thing to behold.
              Thanks Mike and Mike!

PS: I don't think mine is 180gr but, as prog_nonsense stated, even as it is it sounds absolutely wonderful.

JPC in delivered the first 120gr pressings and some weeks later sent the relacement (180gr pressing) to all buyers. So I've got both "versions". The first 120gr pressing sounds amazing (the replacement remains sealed). Great album, never would have thought that MO will deliver such a beautifull set of music in the 21st century. I hope ther's more to come like this.

Vinyl is 180 g, as stated on the front marking, complete with a code and a poster. The album is recorded perfectly.

My copy isn't 180gm either, but it's flat and silent so I'm keeping it. Better the devil you know.....

In fact, it looks more like an old school 1970s/early 1980s LP - indented label area and fairly flexible vinyl with rounded outer edges. I'd prefer it if MORE records were like this these days, to be honest.

EDIT: to add, I found the m4a really dull and lifeless. I made the mistake of listening to that before the vinyl and it almost put me off the entire album. The vinyl is so much more alive.
