This is going for 59p at the moment (Aug/18).
I think that is a stupid low price for this, its a great cover version and was played at all the big illegal raves the UK was known for in 1989. -
Pretty good track. I when it came out it was a club favorite here in SF. Interesting that this classified as Breakbeat. I'm pretty sure that term didn't exist in '89 anyway at that time everything was just labeled House or Snythpop.

This was originally a Northern Soul tune by Gloria Jones. It was then covered by Soft Cell in 1981, in a synth-pop fashion, and it is that release from which, this cover version takes most of it's cue.
It's not often you can say three successive versions, (one original, two covers)can each be absolutely fantastic and unique in it's own way...
