Edited 13 years agoGlobal Communication remix a dousy. Autechre, Plaid and even Carl Craig get out done here. Global Communication and specifically Tom Middleton show their talents here. A dub downtempo break with crisp highlights and wonderful melody gets pushed on by a highly addictive baseline to mke you hit repeat. Breakdown workup with almost orchestra like sound and jitter break stops to the funk make this a track that blinds the lines of any genre. Autechre and Plaid do good very good remix jobs inntheir own right. Carl Craigs remix later found a fairly unknown audience that knew of his great remix with his 2x12 volume 1-3 remixes releases (I think its on volume 2). It sounds like his Relativity remix of BT to my ears. Worth mentioning is the very dope and psychedelic tribal remix by Greg Hunter. This track is like the soundtrack to some underground cult. Seriously that's what it sounds like. Devilish. Very cool EP with loads of depth for only 6 songs. An overlooked EP that barely hints at the Japanese artists these are remixed of.
