Diamonds And Pearls Sounds Incredible On Cassette And Being Played On A Proper 80s/90s Era Boombox, It Really Pops Especially In Regards To The Top End Detail In A Way That The CD Or Vinyl Don't Entirely Do In My Opinion. I Growing Up And Getting Into Prince And Hearing From People Who Were Fans That Were Around When Diamonds And Pearls Came Out That The Cassette Was Where Its At For Listening To Diamonds And Pearls And I Can Absolutely See Where They Are Coming From. The Production And Sonics Of The Album Blend Extremely Well With The Cassette Format. Love This!
