Edited 10 years agoThe stamp of my record says it's this one:

Because of the etchings I could identify it's this record! Anybody else?

Edited 10 years agoEdit: This was meant to be a reply to midmost. Everything is messed up.
Also, if there were any truth to that number, 20% of all copies ever pressed would be for sale on Discogs Marketplace right now… and the prices are really low.
I agree with riot, they're probably (very rightly!) taking the piss out of everybody thinking their stuff has to be "limited" to get people interested these days. -

As with the previous eight releases, the ninth one also serves us three untitled proper house tracks designed with late-night dark club floors in mind. Side A presents the star of the show, one that is "too deep underground" with its minimalistic construction of kicks, toms and snares augmented by a grooved out bassline, smooth chord pads and suggestive vocal sampling. Side B greets us with a proper back-to-the-roots jacking body rocker that shows the trio's taste in acid basslines, swung percussion arrangements and ominous looped vocal cuts. Last, but not least we've got another minimalistic percussion mise-en-scène of rimshots chasing snares, stuttered bass synths struggling to break through a sub-bassline while a worn out key line sings its final notes much like an exhausted club-goer dancing his last steps for the night.

Everyone stop what you're doing; ItaloJohnson has completed its first super-limited pressing of white label 12's in 2015. Each copy of ITJ09 was hand-stamped in a derelict basement deep in Neukolln by gypsies and three anonymous DJs who don't show their faces because they would rather 'let the music speak for itself.' Run to your nearest brick and mortar vinyl dealer and preorder your vinyl NOW because they've only pressed 103 copies and you know the rules: one per customer! Don't hesitate— or you will pay 50 Euro for it at Record Loft.
The EP offers up three jacking cuts of the most pure, organic, raw, dusty, deep underground house music to date. What else could you expect from three Germans who were weaned on a steady diet of Detroit and Chicago classics from the day they were born. After receiving an 808 for his 10th birthday, one member of the faceless trio was rumoured to have ghostwritten basslines for some of techno's finest during the early 1990's.
ItaloJohnson truly are 'too deep underground.'

Edited 10 years agoThe whole record sounded overall a tiny little bit 'too clean' for my taste, but track B1 is the reason why I got this record: dirty, groovy, 90s claps with just the right amount of acid in this house, this is a tool that will get your ass shaking. Very ItaloJohnson, very likeable.
