(Cleaned with the SpinClean, played on the AT LP-120) AMAZING pressing. Probably one of the best pressed vinyl in my entire collection frankly. Nice bass, sharp sounds especially when she pronounces the letter S. No popping hissing or scratches anywhere to be found on this record. Beautiful color too! No complaints at all, and I HIGHLY recommend adding this pressing to your collection if you’re a fan of björk

These coloured reissues are proving very expensive. They sound good to me - as good as couloured vinyl gets I guess. Bit of background hiss but otherwise this one sounds pretty clean. I also have Medulla in 45rpm pressing which is probably the best of the bunch.

I got a bum pressing on mine. Lots of surface noise, but even more galling is that side 2 track 1 skips! Right out of the shrink wrap!

Not a terrible pressing, but not the best either. My copy definitely isn't beige though (like the picture). It's that common "gold" color that's more brown. Every record I own that's this color lacks in the sound department.

Edited 12 months agoLots of different very disturbing background noices on parts of my copy. The paper quality of the cover is cheap and it looks like a fuzzy blown up copy of the CD version, even a bit hard to read. The vinyls weight is not 140 grams, just 120. Love the music on it, but I am disappointed in this version.

I purchased the titles in this series of repressings of Debut, Post, Vespertine, and Medulla. Debut and Post are top loading LPs, (insert disc opening at top of artwork, spine at bottom) I'm not positive, but i believe this was on purpose, i know some other artists that are involved with their artwork have done this on purpose (i. e. Niel Young- American Stars n Bars, Time Fades Away). Now as someone else stated, yes i noticed on the back of Debut it looks like it was a blown up version of a too small picture file or something. The Medulla and Vespertine were the nicest qualities of the four, the only thing that seemed to be lacking was the titles on the spine, Medulla being a plain blank black and Vespertine being a plain blank white, and of the four, Debut was the only one with no insert or sleeve artwork, disappointing. the discs themselves do seem to be about 140g at most, and the covers for Debut and Post are pretty thin, but I have seen worse. I have only listened to the Post so far (I just got home with the others) and the sound quality was fine on that. as someone else said, yes, i bought this Debut in a record store for $22.
---NOW what has been bothering me the most is that my disc is definitely NOT beige, it is a metallic gold ! Now it is what it is, but i really wanted it to be a nice pristine light colored beige and it is definitely a darker gold. I am assuming the pressing plant ran out of the beige early so they started using similar colors, as happens occasionally. But alas, here I am finding it to be a report-worthy offense. So until i listen to it, that is all the info i have to share.
-----If anyone is interested in trading a lighter beige for my gold copy, feel free to message me. Im also fine sharing photos.
