I've been going back and revisiting a few of these Public Domain labels I have in my collection. This DOL Kind of Blue is actually very good considering the price. I don't have anything to compare it to but the memory of the SACD version that I played the hell out of.

I bought a brand new unopened copy at Cactus Records in Houston, Texas, for a very good price. Catalog number is the same, but my copy is pressed in 180g HQ Virgin Vinyl and the labels are different. Funny thing is that it does not show the issue year. Reason why I’m not giving 5 stars. It is my first brand new 180g record and I find it excellent printing, pressing, and sound. So great value for the price. I’ve only compared with Spotify through a WiFi cast adapter, and it does sound more deeper and crispy. Not sure why is kinda of banned in some forums and apparently here for sale too. Maybe because DOL is a Russian house.

I have this same edition and it sounds great, the problem is that I do not have an original to compare. The price is good and the press of very good quality.I would like to know if this is taken from a digital master, if anyone knows it is out of curiosity.
