Berlin-based Beste Modus starts the year 2015 with a wicked split-EP crafted by 2 of the Beste's : Cinthie & Ed Herbst. Cinthie takes care of the A-Side with 2 house cuts that will instantly make you want to click on that Pre-Order link! First we have 'GhettoBastard', a proper basement t with a damn' groovy use of pitched toms & rim shots that will make you get up and move your booty! We then have another interesting composition from Cinthie called 'Jaam': moody stabs, rolling baseline and a Portuguese-sounding vocal cut saying "Jaam".

Ed Herbst marks his side of the 12" with a deeper touch. First with 'CityScape' defined by a filtered synth which gives space to the track, a warm baseline and some nice background voices that bring a more human touch to the composition. Last one on the EP is 'When Im In The Elevator', another smooth composition from Ed, the track is characterised by delayed deep stabs, airy pads, transposed hats and a sensual female vocal cut that goes like "You Know What".
