One day this set will be rediscovered for its incredible sound quality. So glad I was able to score this for $50. The amount of detail one can hear at this price point is amazing -
Anybody know if this is analog? it sounds like it to me? It sounds so good. Also, for those who have side tracks, does this sound better?

Bought this used in VG condition and am extremely pleased. I had a copy of the original release, but it was long ago lost in a flood. So happy to have this one back! A terrific box set of Dylan greats and the pressing sounds quite good to me. -
Fantastic box set which I just discovered. Excellent sound quality on the CDs (1985 set). Also have the vinyl on order and looking forward to it!!

One of the great vinyl bargains there is. Seriously undervalued. Get it while it is under the radar.

I'm always surprised at how cheap one can typically get this box set for. Such a great bargain for a 5 LP collection that's sonically impressive (some of the studio cuts are superior to my originals) and loaded with biographical and track information. The booklet is an enjoyable read with many fantastic photos. And the inner sleeves give insights for each song which is far more convenient then having to refer to the booklet. A carefully selected track listing which includes the first introduction to the then unreleased "Up To Me," which is one of Dylan's greatest achievements. This collections gives you a lot bang for your buck!
