1988 and I had this on cassette permanently on play in my car as I blasted up and down motorways in the UK for my poxy job. Brilliant cheesy music that put a permanent smile on my face. Was really lucky to catch the man live performing this album and it was a hoot - DLR sure knew how to put on a show back in the day.
Picked up this vinyl copy second hand and I was instantly transported back to that summer :)
And it has the added bonus of not having the ghastly 'bonus' tracks California Girls and Just a Gigolo that got bundled onto the UK CD reissue this I bought in the 90's.
Original track listing in the original order - what more could you ask for.
