Agréablement surpris . Ce label propose souvent des pressages de très mauvaises qualités, mais ici, c'est correct.
-
Mine is noisy, not terribly so but clearly audible between tracks. Otherwise though sounds pretty good I think when the music is actually playing.

Not sure if this has been repressed again recently but sounds fantastic on my system.. using audioengine analog speakers.. glad i took the punt and took the long way home..

Got a copy a few years ago, from WH Smith! Paid less than 20 quid for it. The pic disc works really well to look at, as the sleeve is one of the best ever for a 12" album. As for the sound quality...not gonna fault it. Bass is solid, and the treble doesn't distort. Silence between tracks is minimal, and very little crackling or popping

Edited one year agoIt's a picture disc so I was expecting the usual quiet mid-track whooshing and it's there. It goes with the territory. I'm not going to lose sleep over it. I'm sure a proper black vinyl version may sound better but I have nothing to compare this with... not even a CD. My copy has a few campfire crackles and also a few pops... but what really p!sses me off is the fact that it comes only in a thick PVC envelope. On what planet is THAT a good idea?

Edited one year agoAccording to the other reviews, I must be one of the lucky ones that I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. The vinyl is super quiet and sounds fantastic. To be honest never had such a good picture disc before. Usually all my picture discs sound like sh*t but I'm thrilled with the quality of sound that comes out from this one ! The thing is how long this is going to last ;)

Some find the criticism too harsh
But It's the truth. I have 2 versions, this pict and an LP 1979 Europe version. the difference is heard. on the picture disc much more surface noises and the high mids are attenuated. Interesting for the pict but not for the sound. -

Average for a picture disc, it doesn't sound terrible as many others said, but it's also not impressing, i wish i didn't buy it, but it does the job.
