Anyone managed to compare the original vinyl pressing with the reissue? I have the original, but have been tempted by a minty fresh copy.

The general public knows The Cardigans of the airy hits "Lovefool" and My Favourite Game. The playful pretense of unemployment, in particular, the 1995 album Life so irresistible made seems to be gone forever, along with the blond locks of singer Nina Persson and figurehead. But never mind, the more serious side of the band which has always been latent was also has its charms. In the five-year period that followed on Gran Turismo The Cardigans have themselves through musical collaborations with Mark Linkous of Sparklehorse (Persson) and singer Titiyo (composer Peter Svensson), both production as lyrically quite developed. Long Gone Before Daylight is a coherent, attractive and above all fair plate where no place for musical gimmicks. The all forms of irony weaned lyrics of songs as Communication and And Then You Kissed Me make an impression by their direct expressiveness. Five years after the somewhat contrived Gran Turismo The Cardigans come back strongly with a gem of a pop record.
