Rhoda's performance here is amazing. i wonder if such an explicit & in-ur-face kind of song would still be possible today.

I have it on 45, ordered it from Records on Wheels, Toronto on a dare from audiophile dad. I had no idea what I was ordering. It seems he first heard it on CBCs Brave New Waves. Occasionally I would use it in a set, working in the strip bars. Made me feel like I was doing performance art. Now that I'm an old lady I feel less proud of my attempts to rock that boat. I think the song is amazing, very well produced, one of a kind. My hat goes off to Rhoda Dakar, it couldn't have been easy to perform.

Really? I thought it didn't exist and even had that verified recently. So if you have copy it is indeed super rare.

My friend was absolutely mad on Two Tone, he had this on 12", he played it to his girlfriend who was mortified by it,
it actually screwed with her mind so much that she stole it from him !
I can he had it , but there is no record of it ever being made, it even had a picture cover.
Anyway this is one dark and disturbing tune, and not for the fainthearted.
