This is one of the best sounding records I’ve ever heard, on my or any system! The soundstage is truly spectacular. Details just swing around you! I played bass in an R&B band for a few years, played a bunch of these tunes more times than I can and thought I knew them in detail, but wow there is so much more in there than I realized!! My $1 sale copy is nearly perfectly flat and silent. Grab it if you see it!

The leadoff track on Rapture, "Sweet Love" boasts a unique melodic hook based on a minor-7th chord, and sets an impossibly high bar for any career. "You Bring Me Joy" is a nondescript valium ballad, "Caught Up in the Rapture" was a huge hit, and will bring back good memories for most of y'all. "Been So Long" closes Side 1 in a valium jack swing mode.

Side 2 starts with the mid-slow yearnin' of "Mystery," serves up another hit with the midtempo smash "No One in the World," moves on midtempo with another massive hit, "Same Ole Love," and ends with the midtempo regret of "Watch Your Step."

As you can tell, for me nothing she's done can touch "Sweet Love." Millions of listeners disagree.

My copy has a catalog number that reads "9 60444-1." Is this submission the same, just leaving off the 9 for whatever reason or is mine actually a different catalog listing?
