    Dr Derelict = Wayne "Ambassador Of House" Williams.

    An influential figure in the formative years of the Chicago House scene, Wayne remains an unsung hero to most. It's a shame he didn't make more tracks, but he did have a few good early records released on Trax records and Jes Say records.

    The latter part of the '80s would see Wayne work for the Jive Chicago label. He was instrumental in getting the likes of DJ Pierre, Liz Torres, Jesse Saunders, Mr Lee, White Knight and Da Posse in for tracks and mixes, respectively.

    But back to this 12". My pick for the best version (there was also an earlier 12" with different versions: https://discogs.mejorespelis.org/Dr-Derelict-Under-Cover/release/738958) is the 'Dub-A-Cover (Remix) (With Bonus Freaks)'.

    And speaking of Chicago's unsung heroes (adding it here before I forget!);

    Another early Chicago unsung hero to read about is Leonard "Remix" Rroy. He never released any tracks (afaik), but Leonard sure has history and has always had a lot to say on Chicago's early and humble beginnings. Be sure to check some of his old YouTube vids out for starters.
