the quality of this press it's quite good...
Glitter vinyl always makes a little bit of pops, but it's good a all...
here my rip:

The color isn't my favorite of the Coke Bottle Clear pressings but it sounds very good regardless (and it's the thinnest of the three existing pressings as well). For the price, not having the printed inner sleeves, slipcase, or even the title of the album is a waste.

Impressed with the sound quality. Not a fan of glitter records but this one sounds great. Such a fun pressing for the 1 year anniversary! 3 stars cause I wish they included the deluxe packaging on this one.

Edited 8 months agoI think this pressing is solid overall. Yes it has glitter and yes it’s going to make noise, however this one is far better than the other glitter vinyl I have. It’s pretty silent all throughout and I use sonos speakers that I blast. So on regular speakers I’d imagine it’s even less noticeable.
As for the packaging, this is not the deluxe edition and nowhere on the UO site is this d so do your research before buying. The clear price difference and mock-up should have indicated this for everything. The deluxe packaging with the diecut is the one that comes with Mylar stars and printed innersleeves. -
This color variation pops and crackles like a dirty vintage vinyl due to the glitter.
That could be either a bad thing or a nice surprise depending on your preference.
It does make me wonder if it will affect my needle over time.
I wish there was an insert or at least a track list somewhere on the cover/center design.
Overall, I like this variant! -
Some of these songs go significantly harder on here, the mastering is superb to my ears. Scrumptious bass, wicked synths, detailed and really pops. Minor IGD on side B but everything else sounds quite clear. The discs look great too, not quite the ugly swamp green some people try to off as coke bottle clear but not quite genuine coke bottle clear but somewhere in between. The look of the glitter fits this album super well and surprisingly for the most part doesn’t affect playback. Notable popping and clicking throughout Femininomenon, California, and the beginning of Guilty Pleasure but everything else has little to no surface noise. Packaging is cute, I wouldn’t be caught dead paying the price of the deluxe edition so this is nice for what it is. Interestingly enough the disc 1 sleeve was poly lined but not disc 2. Reccomend this if you can get one unless you’re easily bothered by surface noise, then maybe steer clear of glitter records in the first place.

Edited 8 months agopressing is so pretty and it plays really well, my only gripe with it is that it doesn't have printed paper sleeves (not that I necessarily expected it, the other urban outfitters pressings don't either) but it would've been nice. inner sleeves are just paper and not poly lined though :/ so I switched them out with my OG popstar edition sleeves.

This sounds really good for a glitter pressing! The only other glitter pressings I have are riddled with noise and static, but this had minimal surface noise. Maybe I lucked out --- The color seems lighter almost slightly blue/turquoise compared to the coke bottle repress without the glitter. It isn't as sharp and clear as the standard pop star pressing or the pink urban pressing (I never tried the first UO press) or any of the others. Target sounds better than this pressing, but it's still surprisingly great for a glittery vinyl.

Edited 8 months agoThis is sadly a pretty lackluster repress of a great album. It doesn't come with the mylar stars or die cut slipcase that the pink Urban Outfitters exclusive came with. It doesn't even come with a lyric/credit sheet anywhere. And it’s definitely the dirtiest I’ve ever seen a brand new record be. This is why I think labels should stop with all the variants; they're lacking in anything to make them special. Glad I was able to get the pink UO one for retail
