Notes
Recorded June 1997 at Easley, Memphis, TN.
Includes lyric sheet.
Tim Burton credited as being part of the band but didn't play on the recording.
B-side plays wrong speed. By the time the label (Jade Tree) realized the 1st press had been mispressed and told Mordam (the distributor) about it, several hundreds of copies of this release had already been sent to distributors worldwide. The US partners were asked to return the copies, while the overseas distributors were asked to destroy them, since shipping the copies back would have created a financial burden for Mordam. It´s hard to say how many of these have actually been destroyed and how many leaked into the circulation.

Can anyone help with describing the characteristics (too fast?, too slow?) of the sound of the b-side? I think I may have a copy. The entire b-side sounds a little slow and warbled and it seems to become more noticeable as the side progresses. Any info would be much appreciated!

Edited 13 years agoThe entire first press has side B running on wrong speed. The music, indeed, doesn't sound right throughout the whole B side. Side A runs OK. As soon as this came out, Mordam, that was distributing Jade Tree at the time, withdraw the copies and asked the distributors that had already gotten them to return them. Since I was working for an overseas distributor, we were asked to destroy the copies, as returning them would be too costly. I saved a few copies. There must be a few more saved worldwide, but not many. One of the rarest releases around, if you manage to get your hands on it.
