I bought it quite cheap on Ebay and I loved it. I've been a fan for quite some time but I hadn't had the time to listen to this album completely. It surprised me. -
Got this recently ..Gonna give a few ultrasonic baths . Sounds good outta the shrink though. Got mine for 27.00 on Ebay.

My biggest complaint with this release is its packaging. Though this may have been a unique case and I was just unlucky, the shrink wrap packaging was very loose and completely ripped open just from me casually picking it up. I planned to keep my copy sealed for my collection, but the very fragile shrink wrap completely changed that. The alternate cover was a great choice for this release and looks lovely, and the pink color of the record is spot on. I think releasing the deluxe tracks for this album was a great choice for record store day. Besides the packaging, this release is super cool and worthwhile now that the prices seem lower online. -
Okay, so I basically paid $60 for the piano version of Silent Running (which, yes, is one of my all-time fav Gorillaz tracks, but for me the other bonus tracks are just okay). Also, when did a 12"x12" insert become a "poster"? -
Insanely overpriced. But I LOVE the D2 tracks and it is the entire reason I bought it. Sounds as good as https://discogs.mejorespelis.org/release/26225243-Gorillaz-Cracker-Island ...which is a dead quiet, perfectly mastered to vinyl pressing on my system. -
Definitely super well overpriced for what it is (as with another Australian commenter, stuck paying $110AUD </3) but besides the distortion on the last track of each side (seems to be a consistent thing across all pressings) really nice mix, really nice packaging as well. Very rarely shell out for these sorta releases so I imagine with my luck this will get a similar reissue at a much more reasonable price very soon haha -
Like others said. Track 10 really bad distortion.
Besides that’s it’s a super clean pressing. It looks like the target one which is probably why it has the same issue. -
Track 10 has a lot of crackling and distortion but other than that everything sounds excellent. -
Edited one year agoThis was super overpriced ($110 AUD RRP in Australia) but I'm happy to report it sounds just as nice or better than the standard EU pressing of the original album that I had. Still got some noise on Possession Island that was on the standard LP and now on the piano version of Silent Running
