I bought it (again !) for the sake of being a bit of a collectors item. Am I happy with the sound ? It’s ok ….not mind blowing. Think I’ll stick to the 2009 pressing. My copy pops a bit and not much swirl which was disappointing when I opened the record. That being said …. One to keep over time.

Does the world need this release? NO! Fans have this releases as originals since years. Coloured vinyls doesn´t make it better. Releases like this, only block the pressing plants and really new and good releases have to wait. It's just a waste of resources.
-
The best back in black album I have. Definitely better than the 2009er version and looks nicely in black and white. Vinyl is in a really good condition.

Sounds...ok. Clean and flat.
But it looks nothing like the images, just a few white blobs round the outer edge on side A and a "halo" round the label on side B -
-
Just find the 1980 Robert Ludwig cut. That’ll blow any pressing of this album out of the water! They’re Never gonna get this right. Remasters of AC/DC are a Complete waste
-
Lots of surface noise, even after US cleaning. No low end punch but at least it’s not overly compressed. Any pre-2003 remaster CD sound better than this. For collectors only.
-
Mine looks awesome, sounds awesome and feels awesome. I got this one, the Back in Black and The Razors Edge albums and they all sound excellent to my ears. Maybe I got lucky, but three times? Maybe you guys were unlucky??
-
My black and white swirl copy looks more like black with a few small blotches of white. What a huge let down. Who ever over saw the pressing of these should be fired and have his head put into the pressing machine because he's clearly not using his brain. I can't be bothered to send it back because I'm fairly certain most of the copies suck.
