Notes

Customatrix - Identifying the Customatrix stamp in the runout areas on most vinyl pressings from any of Columbia's pressing plants can usually be achieved by locating a small stamped zero "0" often positioned either right before the matrix #, or directly following it.

Cardboard jacket with white inner sleeve and vinyl with red Columbia Labels with a large sized pressing ring on the labels.

* Inner sleeve article about "Leadbelly Sang The Blues".

This excellent album by The Raiders featuring Mark Lindsay is a extremely underrated release. Besides the brilliant number one billboard hot 100 hit "Indian Reservation" i love "Birds Of A Feather", "Eve Of Destruction" a cover of the Barry Mcquire hit, and "The Shape Of Things To Come" (another cover version). This is a wonderful album which I love.

Birds of A Feather was recently used in the movie Are you There God? It's Me Margaret, in the opening title sequence.

The title track is amazing! Had as a 45 single. Very suprised how good this release is. Very enjoyable from start to finish. Happy to add to my collection.

Some great songs on this LP besides Indian Reservation. I would say its underated for sure. Not a bad tune on this one unless you desire top 40 music throughout.

The only great part of this album is the first 3-4 seconds. That opening keyboard line/scream. Good stuff. The rest of 'Indian Reservation' is fairly good. I see why it was a hit. The rest of the album is filler.
