In my view, this release doesn't make much sense. Five tracks from "Low" and six tracks from "Heroes." Not even the most interesting tracks from those albums. As a promo album eschewing the most obvious hits, it could make as a promo issue or an odd curiosity. However, if you want to dig deeper into those albums, getting the two original albums makes more sense. If you want a single LP with the best tracks from the Berlin era, the soundtrack to the movie "Christiane F." is a much better selection. -
Now here is a RSD record i'm happy to open and play. I've got an original which Includes the listener winner's letter from WMMR 93.3 in Philadelphia, telling them they had won the contest for the Bowie Now. -
Mine also skipped on the B side. I brought it back to the record store, and the store clerk gave it a spin to check, but it played fine. She let me return it anyway.
