What a great compilation. Great selection of songs to have all together in this double album. Also it sounds very good. -
Edited 2 years agoDon't get the overall rating here and elsewhere as this sounds amazingly fantastic, even though there is so much music on each side. Just received a copy that looks pretty unplayed. The music and running order are both fine, some folks wrote they'd rather have a chronological running order, but comps that work this way are the most boring thing to me... Imagine bands playing that way live 😂
Good to have the non-album tracks as well, like the fantastic "Bankrobber" or "Armagideon Times"!!!
To sum it up: a clear 11 out of five points!!!
Pressing is quiet, dynamic and enough bass-heavy to do its thing. Very near to the most recent 2015-2017 represses, which are fine as well. If you have listened to one album too often then this compilation will make you love the tunes again. Promise! ☺️ -
Wikipedia claims the LP set was issued in red, blue, yellow and green variants. I see red, of course, and blue on here. Where are the others? -
